Our first Year 1 photos. September 23, 2016 by mhall. HUGE WELCOME TO YEAR 1. September 23, 2016 by mhall. First of all I would like to say welcome to my very first blog post of the year. I have had a fantastic first few weeks with my new class and they are all starting to settle into year 1 life. Monday and Friday- book change days. Thursday- spelling homework due in.
I have loved this week and becoming real life pirates, you are the best shipmates a captain could ask for. This week we have been reading the story of Pirate Pete and his quest to find the gleaming booty. We have been learning how to speak like a pirate and looking at the life of a pirate. In maths we have been continuing to use part, part whole to help solve addition problems.
